Looking for Dancers


Are you looking for a summer performance opportunity, keeping the creative juices flowing and being part of a new work-in-progress?

I am looking for a handful of dancers who are interested in experimentation using text, video/photo and movement. We will be taking field trips to local cemeteries and sculpture parks for inspiration. All rehearsals will take place at the Dance and Movement Center, 162 North Main St., Barre, VT.

Dancers must be available for at least 10 rehearsals and the week of performances. Consistency is helpful. Warm up time is included. See schedule below. 

  • Saturday 5/17, 5/24 and 5/31  from 2-5

  • Tuesdays: 5/20 and 5/23 from 9-1

  • Thursdays: 5/22 and 5/29 from 11:30-2:30

  • Tuesdays: 6/3, 6/10 and 6/17 from 9-1

  • Thursdays: 610, 6/12 and 6/19 from 11:30-2:30

  • Saturdays: 6/14 and 6/21 from 9:30-1

  • Monday, 6/23 TBD

  • Tuesday, 6/24 from 9-1

  • Wednesday, 6/25 from 9-1

  • Thursday, 6/26 from 9-1

 

  • Friday, June 27 tech in the afternoon and 7pm performance at The Barn, Corinth, VT. 

  • Saturday, June 28 3pm performance at The Barn, Corinth, VT.

  •  Sunday July 20 at 5pm performance at The Briggs Opera House, White River Junction, VT
