For ten years, the Vermont Dance Alliance has been building a stronger, more connected future for dance in Vermont.
VDA was created to help make dance a viable and sustainable part of artists’ lives—to create pathways for dancers and choreographers to develop their work, connect with one another, and share their art with audiences across our state. Over the past decade, we have championed dance artists, educators, organizations, and communities throughout Vermont by creating opportunities for artistic development, collaboration, performance, learning, and connection.

A gift to VDA helps create the resources and opportunities that dance artists need to thrive. Your generosity supports programs such as our Choreographer’s Seed Micro-Grant program, which provides direct financial support, rehearsal resources, production and promotional assistance, and opportunities for artists to develop and present new work. It also helps us connect artists and audiences through events, partnerships, residencies, touring, education, and community programs.
We believe dance should be accessible, equitable, and vibrant—and that Vermont’s dance community is stronger when artists from every genre, background, ability, and corner of the state have opportunities to create and be seen.
